DSBM at its finest. Oddly calming despite the emotional bleakness of it all; it reminds me of Coldworld’s “Melancholie2” in this respect, though it’s a somewhat harsher and bleaker album than that one. The third track, in particular, is a masterpiece.

Soyons direct: grandiose ! d'une grande et belle intensité. La parenté, pour moi avec My Dying Bride est évidente, mais on est loin de simples imitations. Qu'il s'agisse du chant, des riffs, de la complexité de construction, le tout est de très belle facture. Une oeuvre sombre et romantique comme on n'en croise pas tous les jours. Par contre deux titres instrumentaux un peu plats par contraste...
