Bien que naviguant du black metal industriel au dark ambiant en passant par du post-black et même du rap, il est d'une unité singulière ; c'est simple : il s'écoute d'une traite — en prenant le risque de se faire briser en morceaux — ou pas du tout.

This album cycle was composed during the winter of 2019, finished early 2020. Each album is focused on, but not restricted to, one emotion.

"NEVER FORGIVE" deals with hatred and disgust, as well as mental illness and the need to destroy. Probably the harshest album we made so far, as we absolutely tried to go beyond our personal limitations (using multiple drum-machines, noise, drones, full on violence). Also the second album, but first in-depth, that tries to handle childhood traumas.

"NEVER FORGET" deals with sadness and unjustified hope. It has more of an overall concept and lies perfectly well inside the spectrum of what we as a band love. Linked together through recorded sounds of an MRI-Machine, it basically tells an internal thought-process of a person going through an MRI-Scan, linking together many, many genre-influences like Jazz, Rap, Harsh Electro, Nu-Metal and even Post-Punk. The ending was completely improvised and a "happy accident".

"NEVER HEAL" is our typical approach to Dark Ambient, even with Pop-Influences. The main emotion here is resignation, the harsh reality of depression and it's bleakest moments. The Skits are an homage to the lost town of Feldkirch and it's forgotten tragedies.

NONE a opéré un virage dans Where Life Should Be et ça se confirme davantage dans Damp Chill of Life. Le temps des métaphores est révolu : l'humidité froide, c'est celle des larmes qui coulent sur le visage à cause de la dépression. Tout pleure dans cet album : les guitares typées DSBM grésillent, les solos ("The Damp Chill of Life", "It's Painless To Let Go") sont liquides et coulent, les voix prennent à la gorge ; même le piano, étranglé par les sanglots ("Cease"), est aphone.
